The Order of the Everlasting Day Union Deck (Majors)
Marcus started reading tarot at age 13, in 1978, and has been working with tarot, divination, magic and witchcraft for his whole life.
He and Tali Goodwin, both based in the UK, established the worldwide Tarot Association in 2009 and we have since written over fifty books.
Tali is an intuitive researcher and author, whose calling has led to several ground-breaking discoveries in the world of tarot.
Janine Hall is an award-winning artist based in Canada with a lifetime passion for astrology, tarot and esotericism.
In 2011, following our re-discovery and publication of A. E. Waite’s second tarot images from the British Museum – mystical illustrations (by the stained glass artist J. B. Trinick) which had remained hidden for a century – we were approached by Canadian artist, Janine Hall.
Janine offered to help us create a deck of 22 Major Arcana cards inspired by the Waite-Trinick Tarot and one which would truly make manifest our spiritual work.
We set out to create a unique deck of twenty-two Major Arcana which illustrated the path of initiation in the Western Esoteric Initiatory System, and would convey – as does the Waite-Trinick Tarot – the experiences and teachings of high mysticism through visual symbolism.
We aimed to make it unapologetically spiritual and absolutely accessible to all.
That deck is now complete – and we would like your help to print it and share it with you as a lifetime companion on your own spiritual journey.
THE TAROT OF EVERLASTING DAY
The Tarot of Everlasting Day is an illustration of the path of spiritual initiation in the Western Esoteric Initiatory System. It has been designed to teach an authentic mystical teaching through symbolism, to all who seek it, whether absolute beginner or adept.
This 22-card majors-only deck is the result of a decade of work in design and artwork, being created by award-winning Canadian artist Janine Hall in full-size oil paintings. The concepts of the deck are based on the initiatory teaching of leading author and teacher Marcus Katz from forty years of experience, and the visionary work of author and researcher Tali Goodwin.
The Physical Deck
We are now ready to print this deck in two sizes; a set of larger cards for use in contemplation and magical work and a regular tarot-card size for divination:
- Ritual Deck, 3.5″x5.75″ (89×146mm), Plastic P10 stock.
- Divination Deck, 2.75″x4.75″ (70×120mm), Standard Smooth S30.
We trial printed in various stock and sizes, choosing plastic stock over linen/line weave as it allows the art and symbolism to shine.
The deck is to published as 22 Major Arcana, without borders or text, plus two Tree of Life arrangement cards. These show the cards on the Tree of Life in both the Waite-Trinick system and our own Order of Everlasting Day system, which swaps the positions of the Fool and the High Priestess.
